Support young pianists in reaching their dream

Come and enjoy an evening of beautiful music with Hermanus Schmidt (Gr 9 PRG), Kalu Ueckermann (Gr 11 PRG), and Chadley Leith (Gr 12 Calling Academy) on 19 and 20 May at 20:15 at the Drostdy Theatre when these talented musicians perform a variety of classical (Grieg’s “Concerto in A minor”) and contemporary pieces (“Sound of Silence”, “No Time to Die”, “Bring him home”, among other evergreens) that are sure to delight. The concert is a fundraising initiative to enable them to visit New York, where they have been invited (as prizewinners of the International Youth Music Competition) to perform at the DiMenna Centre for Classical Music in September this year. From 19:00 there will be wine, cheese platters and live music at Upstage, next door to the Drostdy Theatre. Tickets are R150 and available for purchase at Computicket.
