After a gap of more than two years my son and I decided to visit my husband’s grave in the older part of Stellenbosch Cemetery. We did not know what to expect.
What we found was the whole large extended cemetery in near-perfect condition and each individual grave neat and tidy, and clean.
Old trees and bushes have been removed, weeds pulled out, leaves raked up.
Thank you to Dionne Swartz and his team in the cemeteries department of the municipality for a job very well done.
