Fairtree DP World Cannondale riders showcased their passion and talent at Stellenbosch’s premier annual race, the Fedhealth MTB, held at Root44 at the weekend. Luyanda Tobigunya, Kusaselihle Ngidi, Atlahang Motsokiotsi, Thembela Lukalo, Ongeziwe Tyapa, Sthera Xhala, Ongezo Mini, and Yomelela Mfazwe went pedal to pedal in the 54 km marathon that featured an intense 1 400 m climb. Ngidi finished 5th overall and 3rd in his category, with a time of 2:26:43. Following closely, Tobigunya claimed overall 9th and 2nd in his category, clocking 2:33:10. The team’s determination was palpable, with three riders making it to the top 20.
