The fifth event of the 2024 Sportsman’s Warehouse Trail Run Series will be held at Dornier Wine Estate this Sunday (5 May).
Both the long (10,5 km) and short (5,5 km) route will circle through the forest single-track trails.
Both routes reach a refreshment station with energy drinks, cold water and fruit, with Coca-Cola at the finish line. PVM Nutrition will provide energy bar and gel sampling, as well as recovery drinks at the start and finish. There will also be a coffee station from early morning along with Dornier pastries on sale.
The first 250 online entries receive an event medal, while all other finishers will get a generic medal.
Registration starts at 07:45 and the longest distance starts at 08:45, followed by the shorter route start at 09:00. Prizes will be awarded to top male and female participants in each distance; there will also be a lucky draw with great prizes from Falke, Sportsman’s Warehouse and and Dornier wines.
Pre-entries can be done online at www.dirtpass.co.za until tomorrow (Friday 3 May). Prices start at R145, while under-18s pay R60 online. All late entries will be at an additional fee.
