With a new year round the corner, matriculants are not always aware of affordable training opportunities available to them, and which could open doors for successful careers.


With a new year round the corner, matriculants are not always aware of affordable training opportunities available to them, and which could open doors for successful careers.

On Friday 1 December, 48 learners of Kylemore and Stellenzicht Secondary schools had the opportunity to attend a series of information sessions presented by local training institutions.

Ranyaka Community Transformation, a non-profit social enterprise hosted the event sponsored by Nedbank.

The programme included presentations and interactive mentoring sessions by Bergzicht Training, Pinotage Youth Development Academy, Training 4 Change, Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda), Stellenbosch Crafts Alive and the Stellenbosch Municipality.
