U-15 Paul Roos chess players off to Western Cape tourney

Paul Roos Gymnasium’s chess teams participated in the Chess Cape Winelands Top Schools’ Tournament this weekend. The u-15 team won the competition and qualifies for the Western Cape Top Schools’ Tournament, which takes place on 1 and 3 September 2023. The u-15s won five out of six board prizes. Well done, u-15s! The u-18s, who ended in second place, also qualify to compete in the Western Cape Top Schools’ Tournament.
