Well-known British Coffeehouse chain Costa Coffee is fast growing its footprint in SA with another new outlet in Stellenbosch.
Costa Coffee opened in the Eikestad Mall in Andringa Street, Stellenbosch with corporate service provider Archipax on 1 July. The new outlet was cause for great excitement.
Costa Coffee has 12 upcoming sites of various tiers being installed over the next few months as well as some new stores coming in soon.
The rise of the Western Cape’s coffee culture and market maturity have consumers enjoying artisanal, local and personalised offerings driving category growth.
Costa Coffee, which forms part of Peninsula Beverages, is part of its R27 billion consumer category, the second largest in the country after sparkling drinks. The Stellenbosch launch is the latest move in the beverage company’s aim to expand the range of drinks on offer to consumers.
The store is situated at the mall’s Game entrance and is open seven days a week from 07:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00 on Sunday.
