Various members from Cloetesville and Idas Valley Neighbourhood Watches attended a two day training course in Conflict and Mediation Management from 19 to 20 February.
The training took place at the Eikestad Hall Complex with the training for the two groups running simultaneously.
“We received valuable information that is applicable while on patrol and for use in our personal lives. The course were well presented and the learners displayed excellent participation through their learning,” said Cloetesville Community Policing Forum’s Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator, Andre van der Westhuizen.
The course was offered and funded by the Western Cape Government-Department of Community Safety.
“Thank you to all learners for their attendance, course facilitators and the different role players for the logistical arrangements,” Van der Westhuizen said.
