The 2024 Stellenbosch Pageant culminated in a dazzling crowning gala where 42 finalists vied for top honours in various competing categories at the Stellenbosch Town Hall on Saturday (12 October).
This event celebrated community service and empowerment, showcasing the finalists’ incredible work.
The judging panel included Keenan-Lee Adams (former Mr Stellenbosch, Mr Cape Town, Mr Western Cape); Carin Bailey (former Miss Stellenbosch, Miss Cloetesville and Miss Western Province) and Zandile Masuku (South African women’s sevens rugby player and fitness instructor). The evening’s proceedings were led by Queen Enigma von Hamburg, who shared heartfelt stories that touched the audience.
The event shone a spotlight on the outstanding community service of the outgoing kings and queens. The pinnacle moment of the evening was the coronation of the new royalties for the greater Stellenbosch area, who will continue supporting the Stellenbosch Night Shelter and launch their own community initiatives, driving positive change in the region.
