Organisers this week announced that entries are open for the 2025 Mr & Miss Stellenbosch Annual Pageant, a family-friendly event that showcases talent and beauty from the greater Stellenbosch area.
Entries are open to young and old from all Stellenbosch areas, including Khayamandi, Cloetesville, Ida’s Valley, Jamestown, Stellenbosch Central, Franschhoek, Kylemore, Meerlust, Klapmuts, Pniël, Lynedoch, Simondium, and other surrounding areas.
According to founder Enigma von Hamburg, the platform goes beyond mere beauty. “The pageant focuses on developing role-models who bring positive change to our communities,” she points out.
“With a proven track record of uplifting and creating impactful change, we identify and nurture young role-models who can inspire and uplift their communities, tackling social issues and promoting societal change. As one of the most sought-after pageants in the Cape Winelands, we have a strong reputation for showcasing the best of Stellenbosch’s talent and beauty. Our reigning winners have been actively involved in community projects, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact our new winners will have.”
The competition categories are: Miss & Mr Toddler (four to nine years old); Junior/Pre-Teen (10 to 13 years); Teen (14 to 17 years); Senior (18-plus years); Mrs (married or moms older than 30 years); Miss/Mr LGBT (18-plus years); and Sir (married or dad older than 30 years).
The main crowning gala will be held at the Stellenbosch Town Hall on Saturday 27 September, while the High Tea and Pre-Judging Extravaganza will be held at Rietenbosch Primary School hall in Cloetesville on Sunday 27 July.
