Idas Valley AFC and Idas Valley Community Trails celebrated Youth Day (16 June) by hitting the trails.
On Monday Idas Valley AFC decided to take hands with Idas Valley Community Trails (IVCT) and empower local young players with the importance of nature conservation, understanding the history of Idas Valley and took time to remind the players of the values at the club.
It was also a full-circle moment for the club as well as the founder of IVCT Eon Hendrickse, who also donned the bottle green-and-white during junior and senior football.
“We look forward to more collaborative efforts with the organisation, through which we can empower more young children to take up an interest in nature conservation and realise the importance of it,” the club said in a statement.
