Overberg Goju-Kai and Francois du Plessis Shihan hosted their first club competition of 2022 on Saturday 23 April. “This is the first competition in two years that the parents were able to come and support their children as well as being able to have both kumite (fighting) and kata divisions. We had over 150 students compete on the day. Many of the students competing in kumite for the first time. Well done to all those that took part,” said Du Plessis.
